The EVC Throttle Controller is an award-winning throttle response controller that allows you to tune the responsiveness of your vehicle’s engine. The EVC throttle controller gives you complete control over the responsiveness of your vehicle. It does this by providing new points of reference for your throttle mapping, introducing either a sharper or duller throttle curve depending on what mode/setting has been selected. Introducing a sharper throttle curve not only reduces throttle lag but it also actuates the throttle quicker, thus opening the butterfly quicker. It does this by adjusting the torque request to your throttle table, similar to the way professional tuners manually adjust the throttle tables when ECU tuning. It is also bringing the throttle in earlier throughout the pedal stroke to reduce throttle lag/dead zone in the pedal. The EVC is suitable for most cars made after 2000 and can be programmed to both automatic and manual transmissions. The EVC plugs directly into your factory pedal plug and can generally be installed in as little as 5 minutes.

IDrive
Helps with throttle response. Sometimes the unit does not turn on unless I press the "Mode" button. I would assume it should turn on with the vehicle.

Throttle Controller
There are several MUST haves for JK/JKU and this is priority number one especially if you have bigger tires. The stock lag is terrible and this TC corrects that. Highly recommended

I was ready to sell!
I bought my 18 Rubicon Recon a year ago and had decided I made a huge mistake. I felt like I almost needed to get out an push that thing down the highway. Then we found out about the throttle controller by IDrive. I am in love with my Jeep now!

hard to install
i tried for 3 days in a row to install. I had to pay somebody else to install

iDrive EVC
This little piece of magic was totally worth it! It took some twisting of my body and hands to get it mounted, but was well worth the effort. I want to remind readers that this device does not increase horsepower! What it does offer is a much more responsive acceleration response when you hit the gas pedal. I've been driving on AC and U9 for the past 2 weeks and it has absolutely transformed the driving experience. I always hated the lag that the Jeeps had when I hit the gas, and now it's gone! Great product at an affordable price.
