Product Description
Teraflex Big Brake Kit (Wrangler JK 2007-2018)
The TeraFlex Front Big Brake Kit is designed to be a factory brake upgrade for Jeep Wrangler JK owners who are looking for a performance brake package that will handle the increased braking requirements necessary after larger wheels and tires are added. The oversized twin-piston brake caliper provides you with more clamping force and an increased surface area while decreasing brake fade. The caliper will provide a more efficient method of heat dissipation for an increase in stopping power. The high-performance 13.3" mill-balanced vented rotors keep the system cool for maximum stopping in all road and weather conditions. The dual wheel bolt pattern 5 on 5" and 5 on 5.5" allows for use on multiple wheel applications. A premium e-coat finish is durable and rust-resistant. The pads are high performance optimized to provide maximum surface area and reduce brake dust and noise during extreme braking. The composite-resin, semi-metallic pads increase the lifetime of the brake system.

Neck breaking stopping power
I had been having some tense moments with my stock brakes and 40's slowing from highway speeds and emergency braking situations. Gillian told me the Teraflex BBK was the ticket, so I trusted her, and ordered the front kit. Install was straight forward, you will need to bleed all four calipers again, so make sure you have brake fluid handy. Broke in the pads per instructions, and the next two days I had to relearn how to stop. I was stopping car lengths shorter using my normal braking pressure. It was almost embarassing how much shorter I was stopping during normal driving. Hard braking stops almost instantly, squealing the 40's hard bringing them to a stop. Very impressive difference. I have since ordered the rear as well to help with nose dive.
