Product Description
Synergy Front Steering Correction Kit (Wrangler JK 2007-2018)
The Synergy MFG Front Steering Correction Kit is designed to correct the wandering steering feeling that is sometimes experienced when lifting your Jeep Wrangler JK 3" or higher. The drag link is made from crush resistant 1-3/4" .188 Wall 1026 DOM material and exclusive double adjuster sleeve and pinch bolt are setup for adjustment while the drag link is installed. Pretty nice kit!
Overall, the product is very nice. As with everything else for JK's, it's expensive. But, the engineering and finish of the product is nice and relatively easy to install. I flipped my drag link to the top side of the knuckle using the insert, which worked generally well. You'll need a 7/8'' drill bit or a tampered ream - either will get the job done. As instructed, the insert is to "drop in" once the hole is made in the knuckle. Mine did, however I still had trouble getting enough engagement of the castle nut on that TRE to insert the cotter pin (used red loctite for now and marked the nut location for monitoring). I may need to enlarge the hole just a touch more to allow the insert to expand a little. The one thing that keeps me from rating this as "5" stars is the sway bar relocation contingency. The track bar bracket accounts for the passenger side but not the driver. So, you'll either have to shorten a fixed sway bar link or get adjustables (which I have) then shorten one side.
