Product Description
Next Venture Motorsports Frame Mounted Rimrocker Rock Sliders (Gladiator JT 2020+)
If you want rock sliders you can bounce off of big rocks day after day, wheeling trip after wheeling trip, you'll care as much about what they're made of as what they're mounted to. That is why we mount these off of the frame and recommend *welding* them to the frame -- because unlike bolts, welds don't back out and come loose after vibrations or boulders.
These are made from a combination of 2" DOM Round Tube (120 wall) and 1/4"+3/16" laser cut steel plate that is CNC formed. The 3/16" laser cut steel plate that spans the distance between the 2 structural tubes is designed with minimal rock catching cutouts -- to provide a strong smooth surface that will slide over rocks and obstacles while still allowing for drain cutouts near the bottom. The lower tube can also be supplemented with a solid aluminum insert for added strength against the toughest drops. Inserts are made of 1.75" OD 6061 Solid Stock, and increase the effective wall thickness and strength of the rock sliders and make them practically impossible to dent.
Due to the gussets/reinforcements that prevent unwanted flex of the rock sliders, 4 small notches for clearance (using a cut and fold method) are required in the JT pinch seam.

- Necessary hardware
- 1/4" & 3/4" steel construction

***** Bare metal products may have slight imperfections as a result of raw material handling, manufacturing and fabrication. These imperfections are easily covered up with a textured powder coat finish. Additional finishing, sanding and prep work may be required if you wish to have them finished in a smooth powder coat or paint.
