The DV8 Diesel Rear DEF/Exhaust Skid Plate for Jeep Wrangler JL Diesel models with a 3.0L engine offers maximum protection without compromising on clearance. This system keeps your diesel DEF tank safe when out on the trails. Due to the location of the diesel DEF tank, protecting this area is a major concern of diesel JL owners. DV8's heavy-duty skid plate encases the DEF tank and muffler so they can take hits left and right through the trail ride. Offering a heat barrier between the two will also allow you to rest easy that the exhaust is not heating the plastic DEF tank causing damage. DV8's system is easy to install and will provide a clean new look to the backside of the Jeep.
