Horrible Fit
Let me start by saying OffroadElements is fantastic to work with. That’s where my positivity ends with DV8. First, the install instructions are absolute garbage. They leave out extremely important steps that bog down the whole install. Next, the parts DV8 included were not for a JL at all. I had to contact them to send new boahings since my tailgate sagged severely, breaking my guide arm. Even with replacement bushings the thing barely matches without having to lift the whole thing. On top of the sagging, the tailgate doesn’t fit the Jeep hinges; it leaves huge gaps for water to get through (the include foam tabs that, unsurprisingly, don’t actually fill/fit the space their designed for). Next, the tire carrier is 33% more narrow than stock, so if you get a bigger tire (or any tire) you actually have to buy a separate spacer so it fits. The whole thing is just poorly designed, overly expensive garbage.
