Hey all!!! Gillian here to tell you a little about this week's manufacturer, TeraFlex. We have run many of their parts, from suspension upgrades to body armor and steering upgrades to axles, on both of our Jeeps and have not been let down yet! Their impeccable attention to detail and friendly customer service really make them a stand out company in our eyes. Dependable products combined with affordable prices make them a well-known brand in the Jeep and wheeling community.
Our 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door Sport has been built up in the past year to be a Frankenstein of sorts, hence the name Frankie. The day I picked her up from the dealership, I knew as well as upgrading from the dreaded "pizza cutter" wheels and tires, I needed to give her a little lift. I went with the 2.5" Budget Boost with Shock Extensions since the Jeep was brand new and the shocks didn't need to be replaced quite yet. The Budget Boost gave us enough lift to run 35" tires without sacrificing front or rear ground clearance. I was able to tackle rock gardens and mud trails alike without getting hung up on obstacles. Since we want to give our customers first hand reviews of the products we sell, we have since changed the lift but we honestly have nothing negative to say about the Budget Boost and are happy to say that a fellow Jeeper and friend has given it a new home on his Jeep. This lift is perfect for those looking for a budget friendly, entry level system that allows for up to 35" tires.
Eric's Jeep Wrangler JKU Sahara, Shanaynay, and Frankie are running TeraFlex's heavy duty differential covers, front and rear. Personally, I like the look of them the best! The black and red design adds a beefy look to the undercarriage and of course, they do their jobs by keeping our gears together and oils where they need to be. Check out our package deal of diff covers and Lube Lockers here!
Eric has added TeraFlex's CRD60 Front Axle Assembly to Shanaynay since he is running 37" tires and 4.88 gears. This high pinion mammoth is designed with maximum ground clearance- even more than the Dana 44. The performance of this front axle is absolutely outstanding! The strength and look turns heads for a shock and awe effect among customers and fellow wheelers. It gives us peace of mind knowing that we're running a strong enough front axle to hold up to the punishing terrain and abuse we throw at it. We are looking forward to upgrading the factory 44 rear to a matching Dana 60 within the next few months.
Frankie also runs their steering stabilizer and relocation bracket which moves the stabilizer to a safer location and dampens the steering. For now, on mine, I am still running the factory tie rod but when it is time to upgrade, I'm definitely going with their heavy duty set up!
